Monofil Lightweight Filler is a premium-grade, two-component polyester filler formulated for efficient surface repairs across steel, aluminium, zinc-coated metals, and GRP. Its creamy, paste-like consistency ensures a non-porous application and a sealed, sandable finish—perfect for prepping panels before painting.

🔧 Key Features:

• Type: 2K polyester body filler with supplied hardener
• Colour: White – ideal for visibility and light topcoats
• Volume: 3 litre tin – suitable for medium to large repair jobs
• Density: < 1.1 g/ml – lightweight and easy to spread
• Dry Time: Sandable after 30 minutes at 20°C; 10 minutes at 60°C
• Pot Life: 4–5 minutes at 20°C
• Finish: Smooth, sealed surface with minimal shrinkage
• Sandability: Easy sanding with minimal clogging

🧪 Substrate Compatibility:

• Steel, aluminium, zinc-coated metal
• GRP (fibreglass)
• Not suitable for thermoplastics or acidic primers

🧼 Surface Prep:

• Clean and degrease thoroughly
• Dry sand with P80–P150 before application
• After curing, sand with P150–P240 for shaping, then P240–P360 to matt finish
• For non-ferrous metals, epoxy primer may be used to improve adhesion
